Dr. Mojibor Rahman is retired Asst. Professor of General Ophthalmology, National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

He was former Asst. Prof. of Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College, Bogra and also in Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital, Dinajpur.

He was Consultant in Feni Diabetics Hospital, Feni. He took keen interest to organize the eye department of Feni diabetic’s hospital, Feni and first started Phacoemulsification surgery in Feni.

He graduated from Rangpur Medical College, Rangpur in 1979 and was trained at National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital (NIO&H) as Assistant Registrar.

He obtained Diploma in Ophthalmology from NIO&H under Dhaka University in 1992

He obtained Fellowship in Ophthalmology of BCPS in 1999

His main interest are in Anterior Segment & specially SICS, Phaco Surgery, Pterygium Surgery and Glaucoma Surgery.

He has taken Phaco Surgery training from Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital in 2010.
